Boyd Gets Justice Logo.jpg

As your Prosecuting Attorney,

I will never quit fighting for justice.

I will never be outworked.

I will never allow corruption or cronyism.

I will stand for your rights.

Will you stand with me?

Tough but Fair. Getting Justice means fighting for it.

Mr. Boyd started his prosecuting career in 2013 in Canyon County, where he tried 38 jury trials on crimes ranging from domestic violence to DUIs to murders. In Caldwell he earned a reputation as a tough trial attorney who is always willing to fight for victims. Boyd was known for honesty and holding police officers to high ethical standards.

In 2018, Boyd became the Prosecuting Attorney for Adams County, where he tried another 17 jury trials to verdict and has been tapped to handle some of the toughest cases for neighboring counties. As counsel for the county, Boyd has saved his county millions in civil verdicts, holding other parties' feet to the fire for his constituents. He has provided highly competent legal counsel in civil litigation, and has achieved notable victories litigating against the federal government.

He serves on CPAC's National Prosecutors & Law Enforcement Advisory Council for the American Conservative Union, and has served on the Board of the Idaho Prosecuting Attorney's Association.

As Prosecuting Attorney, you can expect Boyd to lead from the front. He will be in the trenches with his deputies, fighting for you.

Boyd's Priorities

"Seeking Justice" goes far beyond simply processing cases—it requires wisdom, compassion, and a deep understanding of our community's needs to create lasting change and foster a safe environment.

For me, faith in God is the cornerstone of my leadership, guiding me to prioritize the well-being of every individual in our community. My greatest joy stems from nurturing my five children alongside my beloved spouse of two decades.

My experiences as a combat veteran with the local 116th Brigade Combat Team in Iraq from 2004 to 2005 have instilled in me a profound sense of service and sacrifice for our nation. It's important to note that mentioning my military service or sharing photos doesn't imply endorsement by the Department of Defense, the U.S. Army, or the Idaho National Guard.

As your Prosecuting Attorney, I am committed to leading with empathy and understanding, always placing the needs of our community at the forefront. I believe in "getting justice" by actively listening to our citizens, recognizing when intervention is necessary, and working tirelessly to create a safer and more harmonious community for all. Together, we can make a meaningful impact that transforms lives and ensures a brighter future for generations to come.

Anti-Discrimination County Ordinance 2022-02
Boyd's letter to Governor Little in 2020

Proven Conservative Values.

Getting justice means protecting the citizens from unjust, unconstitutional government overreaches.

In April 2020, Boyd was the only county Prosecuting Attorney in Idaho to stand up to his own party's governor when the governor enacted an overbroad stay-at-home order that trampled on religious & civil rights.

In 2021, when Pres. Biden attacked the rights of citizens who had chosen not to take the COVID-19 shots, Boyd stood up and fought for the rights of all citizens to maintain employment. He drafted and helped pass a county ordinance that protected workers in his county from employment discrimination based on vaccine status. The state failed to act, and workers in many other counties lost their jobs. In 2023, a version of this legislation finally became state law.

Boyd believes in doing what is right because it is right, even when it is easier to let things slide. He can be trusted to get justice by guarding our constitutional rights.
